HDMC to provide basic facilities for IT companies

DHARWAD: P Manivannan, Commissioner of Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation has promised to provide all necessary basic facilities to IT companies in Hubli-Dharwad.
He was speaking at an interactive session organised by the department of political sciences, Karnataka University, Dharwad here recently.
He said if any IT company came forward to set up their units and to start their business in Hubli-Dharwad, steps would be taken to provide all necessary facilities to them.
He said though the students of North Karnataka were intelligent, they had been deprived of higher posts due to lack of knowledge of English.
He advised the students to put in sincere efforts to learn English along with their mother tongue.
Explaining of problems faced by the corporation to remove unauthorised structures and construction during the anti-encroachment drive, he said corruption had become detrimental to the development of society.
He said it was duty of every citizen to fight against the corruption to provide clean and honest administration to the people.
