Dharwad, Apr 24: Nathan Thompson of USA), Amit Inbar of Israel, Orest Tereschuck of Ukraine) and Philip King of USA advanced to the singles main draw of the PGV Cup ATP Men's Challenger Dharwad Open Tennis tournment here today.

The main draw will commence tomorrow.

In the qualifying rounds, Thompson Nathan got past Victor Kulick of Israel 7-5, 6-3 while Amit Inbar ousted Sergei Bubka of Ukraine 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

For Tereshchuk Orest it, was an easy task as he beat Patrick Tierro of the Philipines 6-2, 6-2. Philip King beat Ashutosh Singh of India 6-2, 6-2.

Korea's 109th ranked player Lee Yung Taik is the top seed in this tournment while winner of Chikmagaloor leg Danai Udomchoke (Thailand) is seeded second. Udomchoke (114) had won the men's singles title in the ATP Challenger held at Dharwad in October 2003.

Taipe's Lu Yen Hsun (118) is seeded third while Poland's Lukasz Kubot (138) is fourth.

Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan, India's Prakash Amritraj and Rohan Bopanna and Japan's Soeda GO are seeded fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.

Four Indians Raju Kaushik, Vishal Uppal, Nandkumar Kiran and Sunilkumar Sipaaya have been given wild card entry.

Thailand's Ratiwatana brothers (Sonchat and Sanchai), the winners of men's doubles title at Chikmagaloor last week and also the winners of the title at Dharwad in October 2003, are the top seeds in the doubles event.

Prakash Amritraj and Rohan Bopanna, who were runners-up in 2003, are seeded second. India's Mustafa Ghouse and Pakistan's Aslam-Ul-Haq Qureshi are seeded third while Istomin and Tereschchuk are seeded fourth
