Aviation training institute inaugurated in Hubli

HUBLI: Former Miss World Diana Hayden inaugurated the 58th branch of Avalon Aviation Academy of Aptech in Hubli on Saturday. The academy will offer courses in association with Sri Chandrala Air Academy.

Addressing a gathering after the inauguration, Ms. Hayden said that training had become important in every field in the wake of competition.

There had been a lot of changes in the job market, she said and added that every organisation or company wanted candidates with specialised skills. Later, Ms. Hayden, who is the brand ambassador of the institute, explained why she chose to be associated with it. M.R. Krishnamurthy, regional manager of Avalon Aviation Academy, briefed about the courses offered by the institute. Hubli-Dharwad Mayor Radhabai Safare hoped that the institute would open up more opportunities for students of north Karnataka. Ramakanth Dixit of Chandrala Academy spoke. Later, Ms. Hayden interacted with the candidates who have enrolled themselves for courses offered by the institute.
